Description du jeu

Designed for 2-5 players, the new map is centered around Great Britain at the end of the XIXth century and players will have to acquire new technology during the game to help them expand their rail network through England, Ireland and Scotland. Cards like “Insulated cabins” or “Thermocompressors” will permit players to claim longer routes with faster trains for extra points at the end of the game.
“This new system is meant to present players with difficult decisions” says Adrien Martinot, General Manager at Days of Wonder. You need wagons to purchase technological upgrades but also to claim important routes. The key to success is finding the sweet sport between the two!
On the opposite side will be a Pennsylvania map, a region long mired in the history of rail travel where players will have to invest in different rail companies in order to win the day. This map for 2 to 5 players uses 60 unique action cards that represent the greatest rail companies of that period. Claiming a certain route also means investing in a certain company and each one rewards its most loyal investors at the end of the game.
Presenting a totally different challenge to its European counterpart, the Pennsylvania map requires you to keep a shrewd eye on your investments, as even the shortest route can tip the balance in your favor and bring in some serious points!
